Agreement

By creating a ClanPlan account, you agree to these terms. If you're using ClanPlan on behalf of a household, you're confirming you have the other members' agreement to share the household's data inside the app.

What ClanPlan is for

ClanPlan is a planning and tracking tool. Recommendations shown in the app — stock signals, prepay-vs-invest splits, job matches, budget suggestions — are generated from the numbers you enter and general assumptions the app states alongside each recommendation. None of it is personalized financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and you're responsible for any decision you make using it. For anything material — investing, taking on debt, tax filings — consult a qualified professional.

Your trading account connection

ClanPlan supports linking Zerodha, Upstox, Angel One, or Groww. If you connect one, you're using your own broker credentials and your own API subscription with that broker. Any order placed through ClanPlan's Foresight module is placed on your instruction, through your own account — ClanPlan is not a broker, does not hold your funds or securities, and is not responsible for trades placed through your connected account, including ones triggered by your own use of any "push to recommendation engine" or similar feature.

Your account

• You're responsible for keeping your login credentials and Vault passcode confidential.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of data you or other household members enter — the app can only work with what it's given.
• You may close your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for how).

Plans, trial and billing

Paid plans are not open yet. The parts below about payment, credits and refunds apply from the day they open; the trial and account parts apply now.

• Plans. ClanPlan is offered in plans. Each plan lists what it includes (the modules, and the AI credits per month if any) and its price in Indian rupees. Prices exclude GST and other taxes, which are added where the law requires.
• Free trial. A free trial plan may be offered. No card is asked for during the trial. The trial runs for the length shown on the plan, counted from your first sign-in after your account is approved.
• When a trial ends. We email reminders before it ends. After it ends you can still sign in and view what you saved, but not change anything, for 30 days. After that your account is suspended: nothing can be opened except the page to choose a plan and the option to delete your account. If you have not chosen a plan, your data and account are deleted 90 days after that, and we email warnings before it happens. Choosing a paid plan at any time keeps everything exactly as it is.
• Paid plans. When they open, a paid plan is charged in advance for each billing period through our payment provider. We do not store your card or UPI details. You can change or end your plan at any time; ending takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
• Changing plan. Moving to a plan with fewer modules locks the modules it does not include; it never deletes your data. Moving to a plan that includes more opens them straight away.
• AI credits. Credits are for AI features only. Each plan states how many it includes each month and how much AI work one credit covers. Unless the plan says otherwise, unused monthly credits do not carry over to the next month, and credits have no cash value. AI providers set their own limits; where one is reached, an AI feature may be slower or unavailable for a while.
• Refunds. A charge for a period that has already started is not refundable, except where the law requires it or we charged you in error (for example twice). If something looks wrong on a charge, write to us within 7 days and we will look at it in good faith.
• Invoices and billing details. We issue invoices to the billing address you give us, which must be accurate. Keep it up to date, and add your GST number if you want it on invoices.
• Changes to plans and prices. We may change a plan's contents or price. We will tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects your next charge, and a change never alters a period you have already paid for.

Acceptable use

Don't use ClanPlan to store or transmit anything unlawful, attempt to access another household's data, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend an account that does.

Service "as is"

ClanPlan is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Features that depend on third parties (broker connections, AI providers, market data) can be interrupted by those third parties' own outages or changes, outside our control. We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClanPlan and its operator aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including financial losses from decisions made using information shown in the app.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above and, where practical, noted in the changelog.
