Not every piece of household information fits neatly into a financial category. ID numbers, passwords, private notes, anything sensitive you'd otherwise leave in a text file, a sticky note, or an unencrypted phone notes app — For Your Eyes Only is where that goes instead, deliberately kept free of AI (unlike every other module in ClanPlan) precisely because this is the data that most needs to be handled with restraint, not cleverness.

It has two parts. Deep Vault holds logins, PINs and numbers, encrypted and revealed only when you ask. The Red Diary is a simple private notebook for the important things that fit no format: a dated entry with a subject and up to 150 words of free text, searchable, and open to anyone in the family to add to. Both sit behind your Vault passcode, asked once when you walk in.

Everything stored here is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM — the same standard used to protect sensitive fields everywhere else in ClanPlan — with each entry getting its own random initialization vector, and grouped into categories so a household's sensitive information stays organized rather than becoming one long undifferentiated list.

Access is gated behind a separate Vault passcode, independent from your regular login password — so even someone who has your login can't see what's stored here without also knowing the passcode. Everything is masked by default; nothing sensitive appears in plaintext until you deliberately choose to reveal it, so a glance at your screen by someone standing nearby never accidentally exposes what's stored.

Features

Deep Vault
Logins, PINs and ID numbers in one encrypted place, grouped by category and each tagged to the family member it belongs to. Your Vault passcode is asked once when you walk in, and every value still stays masked until you choose to reveal it.
The Red Diary
A private notebook for the important things that fit no format. Each entry has a subject, up to 150 words of free text and the family member who logged it, all encrypted. Search looks through every word, and entries can be edited or deleted later.
Category-organized storage
Group entries the way that actually makes sense for your household — IDs, passwords, private notes, and whatever else doesn't belong anywhere financial — instead of one flat, undifferentiated list that gets harder to search the more you add to it.
Encrypted at rest
AES-256-GCM encryption for every single entry, each with its own randomly generated initialization vector — the same protection standard used for every sensitive field across all of ClanPlan, not a lighter-weight scheme reserved for "less important" data.
Separate Vault passcode
A second passcode, entirely independent of your household login password, gates access to sensitive data across every module that touches it — so a compromised or shared login alone is never enough to see what's stored here.
Away from AI
Nothing stored here is ever passed to an AI model. It is encrypted, kept apart, and only ever shown to you.
Masked by default
Nothing sensitive ever renders in plaintext until you deliberately click to reveal it — no accidental shoulder-surfing from a glance at your screen, and no sensitive value left visible on-screen longer than the moment you actually need to read it. A tap on the floating Vault badge locks everything again at any time.
